Workers clock in from the job site. GPS coordinates and timestamp are recorded and visible to you in real time. No location spoofing — if the coordinates don't match, the clock-in is flagged.

We place a hold on your card when you hire — but we don't capture it until you release payment after the shift. If a worker doesn't show up, your card is never charged. No disputes. No clawbacks.

Our system checks every 15 minutes. If a worker is confirmed but hasn't clocked in 15 minutes past start time — we alert both parties automatically. If the issue isn't resolved within 2 hours, we escalate and create an incident report.

Workers verify their government ID before they can apply to any gig. Verified accounts get a ✓ badge visible to employers. Unverified workers cannot apply — period.

Every worker earns a Chambazo Score (Rising → Reliable → Pro → Elite) based on completed gigs, average rating, reliability, and hire-again rate. Higher scores unlock Instant Book. Scores are public and can't be gamed.

Workers on late-night gigs can generate a private safety link with their live shift status — clock-in time, location (neighborhood only), and shift progress — and share it with a trusted contact. No account needed to view.

What happens if a worker doesn't show up?
GigCheck alerts you within 15 minutes. Since we hold (not charge) your card at hire, you owe nothing for a no-show. We also create an incident record and the worker's Chambazo Score is affected.
What if I'm unhappy with the work?
Before releasing payment, you can message the worker through the platform. If you can't resolve it, contact support. Because payment is held in escrow, you have real leverage — not just a post-hoc dispute claim.
Can workers see my home address?
Workers see the gig location address only after they are hired and the booking is confirmed. Until then they see neighborhood-level location only.
