CHAMBAZO

Chambazo Protection

Tools you can inspect.
Limits you can understand.

Chambazo combines shift records, payment-state checks, GigCheck monitoring, and optional verification badges. Each is a signal for review — none replaces your own judgment or guarantees another user.

Protection tools and their limits

Poster protection

Clock-In Record

See the recorded clock-in time.

Every clock-in records a timestamp. When the worker grants location permission, it also stores a one-time GPS stamp for later review. Chambazo does not continuously track the worker, and a device-provided location is not an anti-spoofing guarantee.

Poster protection

Secured before work — the card authorization

Payment has a visible, defined state.

Payment must be successfully secured before work starts. It is captured when you approve the completed shift, or automatically 24 hours after the scheduled end if no dispute is open. A no-show is not completed work, but it must be reported in the app.

A card authorization is a hold, not completed payment.

Both sides

GigCheck — Automated Monitoring

Missed clock-ins can trigger an alert.

GigCheck runs on a 15-minute schedule. Once a confirmed shift is at least 15 minutes past start with no clock-in, it can alert both sides. If the missed clock-in is still unresolved at least 2 hours after that first alert, GigCheck creates an incident report and notifies the team.

Poster protection

Identity Verification

Completed checks appear as badges.

Workers can choose to complete government-ID verification. A completed check earns a badge visible to gig posters. Verification reports a completed check; it is not a safety guarantee or endorsement.

Both sides

Chambazo Score

A summary of recorded activity.

Chambazo Score (Rookie → Pro → Elite → Legend) is derived from recorded completed gigs, ratings, reliability, and hire-again activity. Higher tiers earn the tier badge and better placement. It is one signal to review, not a guarantee.

Worker protection

Share-My-Gig Safety Links

Share your shift with someone who cares.

Workers on late-night gigs can generate a private safety link with their live shift status — clock-in time, location (neighborhood only), and shift progress — and share it with a trusted contact. No account needed to view.

No account needed for the person you share it with.

What actually happens when things go wrong

We built the protection into the product, not into a PDF of terms.

Scenario: Worker doesn't show up

0:00Shift was supposed to start. No clock-in.
15m+GigCheck detects no clock-in, alerts both sides, and gives the gig poster a way to report a no-show.
If reportedIf the gig poster reports a no-show and no clock-in exists, Chambazo cancels the booking and releases the authorization.
OutcomeThe authorization is released. The reported no-show affects the worker’s Chambazo Score; the worker can ask support to review it.

Scenario: Work is unsatisfactory

Shift endThe gig poster reviews the work before approval; the 24-hour dispute window has started.
If unhappyThe gig poster messages the worker in-platform and opens a dispute before the 24-hour deadline so payment remains unreleased.
UnresolvedContact Chambazo support — we review messages, the shift record, the clock-in record, and its GPS stamp when one is present.
DecisionResolution follows the shift record, messages, and Terms. Payment remains unreleased while the dispute is open.

Common questions

What happens if a worker doesn't show up?

Once a confirmed shift is at least 15 minutes past its start without a clock-in, GigCheck can alert both sides. The gig poster must report the no-show in the app. If no clock-in exists, Chambazo cancels the booking, releases the authorization, and records the reported no-show for Chambazo Score; the worker is notified and can ask support to review it.

What if I'm unhappy with the work?

Message the worker through the platform and open a dispute from the booking within 24 hours of the scheduled shift end. Payment remains unreleased while the dispute is open and Chambazo reviews the shift record and messages.

Can workers see my home address?

Workers see the gig location address only after they are hired and the booking is confirmed. Until then they see neighborhood-level location only.

How do I contact Chambazo support?

Use the in-app help center to file a support ticket. The interface is available in English and Spanish; response timing depends on the request and current support volume.
