Event-Night Staffing Checklist for Hosts
Staff do their best work when they know exactly where to be, what to wear and who to ask. Use this list for any party or event with hired help.
The week before
Check that the post has the real call time, end time, dress code and duties.
Send arrival details: the entrance, parking or transit, and who meets the staff.
Decide who on your side answers questions during the event.
On the day
Have a short brief ready: guest count, service style, where supplies are, and break times.
Show each person their station and the person they report to.
At the end
Agree on the last task before staff leave: breakdown, trash, bar clean-up.
Confirm the shift and leave a rating in the app, so the next host sees an honest record.
